　　《瑞灵顿街惊魂RillingtonPlace》是根据真人真事改篇，讲述瑞灵顿街10号中（有部1971年电影曾描述此案），凶手JohnChristie﹑他的妻子Ethel及邻居TimothyEvans皆出现在剧中，探讨他们之间的关系﹑司法不公引致的悲剧及因此令英国废除死刑。
　　JohnChristie至少在他的住所绞杀了8个女人，包括他的妻子Ethel，其中3人被发现藏在厨房里，他因为杀妻而被定罪及被判绞刑。但可惜的是在此前他的邻居TimothyEvans被错误起诉，指他杀了自己妻子Beryl及女儿Geraldine，TimothyEvans在1950年被判绞刑。JohnChristie后来承认杀了Beryl，而TimothyEvans在1966年被赦免罪名。

　　海伦（菲利帕·库特哈德PhilippaCoulthard饰）和玛格丽特（海莉·阿特维尔HayleyAtwell饰）是情同手足的两姐妹，一次偶然中，她们结识了威尔克斯一家人，并被后者邀请到豪华广袤的霍华德庄园中做客。在那里，海伦邂逅了名为保罗（JonahHauer-King饰）的男子，两人之间产生了一段无疾而终的感情。最终，海伦选择了离开，而玛格丽特则留在了霍华德庄园，成为了那里的女主人。
